Bangkok

We join again Guillaume and Caroline there. Nothing really exceptional that day. We just went o MBK, one of the biggest shopping center in Bangkok to buy new phones. Then forward to Kao San road, the touristic street in Bangkok to drink some and dance. We spent a great evening, five of us, because Marion joint one of her friend meets in Myanmar and who lives in Bangkok.
The big negative point was the hostel. We chose that one because of the reviews on the web saying « yes this hostel is not so much but for the price you can't expect more. I advise against going there. People are not friendly austere, the bedrooms smell the mold and the beds; it's like sleep directly on the iron laths. More, the hostel is managed and surrounded by Indian, whom spent their time to stare at us with not a lot of liking, and even one of them asked us with convoluted questions if we are prostitute. The name is « Centaur Inn », and we paid 150 baths for a dorms with.... a lot of beds! For that price I think it's possible to find much better.
We take the public transports, the bus and the sky train. The price for the bus is around 20 baths and the sky train around 35 baths, of course the price depend of the distance of your journey.
The day after we leave with a taxi to the Southern bus terminal for 200 baths to go to Kanchanaburi. The bus cost around 100 baths for 3 hours. In Kanchanaburi we take a small bus for Erawan National park and for 50 baths.
